## What else this rule says
- The older five-year passport is the one that still takes prints: three identical photographs of 35 x 45 mm, strictly full face, on white with no stripes, marks or shadows, the face and the top of the shoulders centred and the face filling 70 to 80 per cent. Black and white is accepted as well as colour. No tinted glasses and no uniform.
- No eye line is published, so the band shown is where the eyes fall on a head sitting centred in the frame. It is guidance rather than a requirement, and is never painted red.
