- The identity card is smaller than any passport size: 26 x 32 mm, on white with no border, the head about two thirds of the picture and the face 15 mm wide, give or take one, between the roots of the ears. No uniform and no white top; somebody who always wears glasses wears them. Most police stations take this photograph themselves or send you to a studio they appoint — ask before printing one.
